Jane of the Ocean
Occassionally, like humans, animals in captivity pets need to visit their natural habitats. They need to see what they’re missing. And, if they’ve been fixed, it’ll be like rubbing it in their faces.
That is why, at least once a week, I take my fish to the ocean. I grab her by the tail, and dip her in. Two dips and we’re done.
Sleepless
It’s almost 3am, and I can’t seem to get any sleep.
I’m nervous as hell about the new life I’m starting tomorrow onwards. I start work on Sunday, but I’m moving to AD tomorrow. I’m not done packing yet, and I don’t think I will be at this rate.
I must get some sleep; I don’t want to doze off while driving tomorrow.
Ow, and I’m worried sick about my new fish pet, Wedgie. She hasn’t eaten in two days. I’m incubating her. I put her under my desk lamp, wrapped the bowl with a towel, & covered it from the top to keep her warm.
That’s sort of what they did to me when I was first born. My mom wasn’t even allowed to see me. And now I’m leaving the nest. But I’ll be back on weekends.
